Summit and Furseth Win Opening Michigan Team

Trenton, MI - David Summit and Erik Furseth started the 2004 season
out right by winning the opening tournament of the World Walleye
Association Michigan Team Challenge April 3rd. held out of the
Lake Erie Metro Park Boat Launch.
Summit and Furseth caught a five fish limit weighing 24.36 pounds
just edging out second place finishers Will Kneer and Nate Seiferlein
who also caught a five fish limit weighting 23.97 pounds.
Dave Kolb and Denny Lantzy placed third with a weight of 19.88
pounds.
The second Michigan Team Challenge event of the season, which
was scheduled for Sunday April 4th, was canceled due to bad weather.
Tournament Director Jeff Russell said it will be rescheduled for
a later date.
