FOND DU LAC, WI - The World Walleye Association Wi/Up Team Challenge is going to Lake Winnebago June 5th and 6th for back-to-back one-day events.

After the second event of the year was cancelled due to bad weather, the anglers of the WI/UP division anglers are chomping at the bit to get back in the game and Lake Winnebago has been one of the favorites stops for these anglers. Tournament fields on Winnebago are usually the biggest of the year for the WWA and these will be no different.

In addition to the extended layoff for the WI/UP anglers, word is out that the fish are biting just about anywhere in the system and some good limits are expected for the tournaments.

Gary Gray, a tournament angling legend on Lake Winnebago will be the MC for the events.

The Registration for the June 5th event will be June 4th from 5:00P.M. -7:00P.M. at Menominee Park in Oshkosh.

Registration for the June 6th event will be June 5th from 5:00P.M. -7:00P.M. at Menominee Park in Oshkosh.

The tournament field is limited to 100 boats.

Tournament hours for both days are from 7:00A.M. until 3:30 P.M.

Boundaries are the entire Winnebago system to the dam on the Fox River where it exits Lake Winnebago.

Size limit for these tournaments is 14 inches.

The WWA is a friendly, fun, and affordable way to participate in the competitive world of walleye fishing. Extensive media coverage of tournament results can be found on www.walleyefirst.com and www.worldwalleye.com along with coverage in the Badger Sportsman Magazine, the official publication of the WWA. Subscriptions to the Badger Sportsmen are included when anglers become members of the WWA.

The WWA also offers a National Championship at the end of the year for qualifying teams.

These are just some of the reasons anglers choose to fish the WWA, łA Tournament Circuit For Fisherman, Run By Fisherman˛.
