Father and Son Team Win Final One-Day Event
of WWA South Dakota Team Challenge

Akaska, SD - Brad and Jess Schilling won the final one-day qualifier
of the year in the World Walleye Association South Dakota Team
Challenge, which was held Sunday, July 11th on Lake Oahe.
Brad and Jess Schilling brought in the only five fish limit weighing
13.64-pounds including the big fish of the tournament weighing
5.44-pounds.
The Schillings were trolling crawler harnesses at various depths
to find their winning fish.
Second place was taken by WWA veterans Carlyle Schleim and Bruce
Dohman with two fish weighing 4.11-pounds.
The current point leaders in the division, Dusty and Wes Wilkens
placed third with a one-fish catch weighing 1.73 pounds.
The South Dakota Team Challenge division will be returning to
Lake Oahe August 7th and 8th for the year ending two-day qualifier.
This last tournament will also determine the State Champions based
on points accumulated throughout the year.
