Burkert and Fohlbrook Win WWA MI Team Challenge
Two-Day on Muskegon Lake

Muskegon, MI - Paul Burkert and Mark Fohlbrook won top honors at
the World Walleye Association Michigan Team Challenge two-day qualifying
event held on Muskegon Lake August 14th and 15th.
Though it was an extremely tough bite despite the excellent weather
conditions, Burkert and Fohlbrook hung in there and caught 11.28-pounds
to give them the win.
Chris Reinhold and Gary Pastor took second place with 9.94-pounds
which included the big fish of day one weighing 7.46-pounds.
Brian Stroven and Dean Evans placed third with a total weight of
8.95-pounds. Their basket included the big fish of day two weighing
3.72-pounds.
The top finishing teams all were trolling crawler harnesses in the
Green Creek area.
