WWA Wisconsin Team Challenge Second Stop to
be Green Bay
Chris Gasser - 5/8/2005
Fond Du Lac, WI - The second stop for anglers in the World Walleye
Association Wisconsin Team Challenge will be one of the favorite
places among the Wisconsin WWA anglers, Green Bay, Sunday May
15th. This fishery proves time and again that it is one of the
best walleye factories in the country and from past experience
it may take 30 + pounds just to cash a check!
The first event of the season in the Wisconsin Team Challenge
was held on the Petenwell Flowage and was won by Jimmie Hughes
and Randy Harwood.
Sign in and rules meeting will be held on Sunday May 15th at the
Metro Boat Ramp in Green Bay. Sign in will be from 5:30-6:30 A.M.
with the rules meeting at 6:30 A.M. One member of each team must
attend the rules meeting.
Tournament hours are from 7:00 A.M. 3:00P.M.
Boundaries will be Wisconsin waters of Green Bay to the tip of
Door County. In the event of inclement weather boundaries may
restrict anglers to the lower bay and the river.
The weigh in limit is four fish over 15 inches.
The WWA is a friendly, fun, and affordable way to participate
in the competitive world of walleye fishing. Extensive media coverage
of tournament results can be found on www.walleyefirst.com, the
industry leader in covering the walleye world, the WWA website
at www.worldwalleye.com and in the Badger Sportsman Magazine,
the official publication of the WWA. Subscriptions to the Badger
Sportsmen are included when anglers become members of the WWA.
These are just some of the reasons anglers choose to fish the
WWA, "A tournament circuit for fisherman, run by fisherman".
The World Walleye Association is sponsored by Yarcraft Boats and
Outdoors First Media.
